About the event
Tickets are now on sale to view a live filming of the PBS show “The Life of a Musician”, featuring The Church Sisters. The house concert will be filmed on Saturday, October 14, 2023, beginning 7 pm (doors open at 6:15 pm). The house concert filming will take place in the Church of the Perpetual Boogie, a historic church under restoration, located in Danville, Virginia.
Savannah and Sarah, also known as The Church Sisters, grew up in Southwest Virginia. The girls began singing publicly after winning the WAKG Rising Stars Talent Competition in 2007. They went on to form a family band with their stepfather Jay and brother Seth and started touring their home state playing for small and large audiences.
